Who is this course for?
It’s for anyone who would love to learn the basics of sewing and creating wedding dresses/formal dresses. The course was created and designed with beginners in mind. It's perfect for sewing enthusiasts, fashion students, beginners, experienced sewists who would love to improve their skills and learn the basics of creating wedding and formal dresses.
How much sewing knowledge do I need?
At the very minimum, anyone taking this course should have basic knowledge of how to use their sewing machine - how to turn it on and operate it to stitch a simple seam/line.

Will there be homework? Do I need to also spend time at home doing things during the week between classes?
Generally, the course is structured for the majority of sewing to be done during the class. However, sewing that is not finished during the class would be finished on your own during the week, for example stitching the lace appliques or the seams of the tulle skirt. The amount of lace appliques placed on the dress will determine the time required to complete the lace applique work.
It is noted that lace applique work requires a significant amount of time (approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour per applique), and each student is advised to carefully select the amount of lace they wish to have on their dress and to allocate the required amount of time during that week to complete the lace work that was not completed during the class.
