and improve the fit of their fitted bodice.

The Experience

The class is in the form of an in-person 3 hour long group class. the class size is small to allow for individual attention and a great learning experience 

You will be provided with materials to create your pattern. You will also be required to bring tools such as a set square and ruler. A complete list of the tools required will be provided upon registration.

There will be a presentation at the start of the class, and you will receive course notes at the start of the class as well .  These will be a good resource for you in the future as you improve your skills and create beautifully fitted garments!

When are the classes, and how long are they for?

Classes will be held on a specified Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Classes are in-person group classes. 

Where will the classes be held?

Classes will be held at the Rostrevor Hotel, St. Lawrence Gap, Christ Church, Barbados. 

What is the class size?

The class size is from 5 to 8 students.

Who is this class for? How much sewing knowledge do I need?

It’s for anyone who would love to learn the basics of creating custom patterns for a fitted bodice. The class was created and designed with beginners in mind, and is also suitable for experienced seamstresses and designers looking to improve their pattern making skills. At the very minimum, anyone taking this class should have basic knowledge of how to use a set square and calculator.
